Design Blitz

Below I have included photos of some elements of design I found this week! It was a bit challenging this week to find design elements around me, as I recently moved and have only had time to go from home to work in between unpacking boxes. So, I did the best I could with what I was able to find. I really enjoyed this little scavenger hunt of trying to find different design elements around me. I wish I was able to devote a bit more time this week to going out searching for different elements of design, but hey, when life hands ya lemons, you drink Golden Bear Lemonade (it’s delicious btw).

I thought this was a good example of typography. There are so many different fonts on this bottle and it really makes the name of the drink stand out.
I thought this was a good example of dominance. The words that are emphasized are written in different colors and draw the attention to those three words. (Side note: I did this sign at work lol)
I thought this was NOT a good example of proportion. I actually laughed out loud when I read “Not actual size”, as if someone would believe they could get a giant 6ft wide cinnamon bun for $1 ..
I know the digital words didn’t turn out well in this picture, but I think this is a good example of color. The different colored parts of the sign assist the viewer to see differing information and helps them to identify where they need to go.
