Dear Mom,

To the woman who has inspired me the most, encouraged me to be my best self, and has shown me the epitome of strength – thank you. From the best, to the worst times, you have continued to be my best (and lifelong) friend. You often tell me how proud you are of me, but the truth is, I am beyond proud of you. You have overcome so many struggles in just my lifetime alone and continue to persevere through the hard times with a smile on your face. You always say, “don’t be like me, make something of yourself”, but the truth is that I would be proud to be like you. A strong, independent woman is something I strive to be, and that is because I had a role model like you. I am so lucky to have someone to confide in when times are tough, and you will always be the first person I turn to when I need advice (even if I don’t always listen to it 😉 ) You have shown me what unconditional love looks like and have sacrificed so much to make sure I succeed in everything I do. From cheering me on in the stands during softball games, to comforting me through my first heartbreak, to celebrating my acceptance into college – those memories wouldn’t be the same without you. I know everyone thinks that their mom is the best, but no other compares to mine, because I can’t think of a better person to be my mom. So momma, thank you for being you and taking such good care of me. I love you!

Love,

Mo

I LOVE THIS! I really wanted to do this assignment but I couldn’t really put all of my gratitude for my mom into words… but you did it! You worded everything I am feeling perfectly!
